Push it into the soil
The stick presses down next to the roots. No cable, no app, no calibration.

Plant Thing sits in the pot and draws water from the air around it. You do nothing.
See the productHumid indoor air and a dry pot are the same problem. Plant Thing solves both with the same motion: it takes moisture where there is too much of it, and leaves it where there is too little.
How it works
01
The stick presses down next to the roots. No cable, no app, no calibration.
02
The condensation surface is cooled below the dew point. Moisture in the room air precipitates as clean water.
03
Water is released into the soil only when the moisture sensor reports it is too dry. The rest of the time it sits still – which is why the solar cells on top are enough.
One thing, done properly
The only thing you notice is that the plant stops swinging between soaking wet and bone dry. The reservoir is filled by the air in the room, and the cells on top by the light above it. Nothing to plug in, nothing to refill.
